The room at Danara Homestay was amazing! I loved the private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries. You really have everything you need here. The 24-hour room service is a great feature too. I felt so comfortable and well taken care of as a guest. The double room had a lovely patio, private entrance, balcony, and seating area. It felt like a home away from home. And the complimentary toiletries in the bathroom were a nice touch. I had a fantastic stay!

The only thing I liked less about the room at Danara Homestay was the seating area. It wasn't as comfortable as I had hoped.

It had a cool setting near Sigiriya, the Pidurangala Rock, and Danara Homestay. Staff was excellent, helped us with everything. During the stay everything was great and we got wake up service as a compliment. The building was neat.

It was stunning by a beautiful garden. There where cool and cosy rooms with ac & a fan. I loved the host.

What a mind-blowing experience! The location was super serene and peaceful, allowing for a jaw-dropping getaway. The owners, Amal and his wife, were simply amazing. They informed us about a special tourist day at a famous rock where we could witness a breathtaking sunrise. Amal even got up at 5am to give us a ride in his tuk tuk. The room was spacious, spotless, and the breakfast, especially the pancakes, was absolutely delicious. Sabitha and her husband were extremely friendly and sweet, assisting us with cheap transportation to various sights and even the bus station. Sabitha's brother also arranged a fantastic safari for us. The guesthouse was quiet, comfortable, and immaculate. The owners were incredibly helpful and hospitable, providing assistance with transfers and bike rentals. The amazing stay nestled amidst nature, just a short walk from Lion Rock, exceeded all expectations. The entire family went above and beyond to ensure my stay was nothing short of incredible, even cooking meals at my convenience and arranging transportation to my next destination. I couldn't have asked for more and would without a doubt recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat.

place was calm and close to sigiriya temple. helpful staff, nothing too much trouble, had a fairly nice stay. the most important was convenient location. we spent 2 nights in there and would love to return.

I loved staying here, it was nice and clean and met all my expectations for my trip, and the prices were great.

The friendly and helpful family that runs the hotel made us feel right at home. They offered delicious homemade breakfast and even prepared dinner for us at a reasonable price. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the bathroom was modern with warm water. The location was convenient, with key attractions within a 20-minute walk. We also enjoyed watching the wildlife from our balcony, including squirrels, birds, and monkeys.

As the hotel is located in a small town, there were limited dining options nearby. However, the family always offered to prepare dinner, so this wasn't a major issue.

We had a wonderful stay at a homestay in Sigiriya. The house was tucked away in a peaceful forest, away from the main road, allowing us to enjoy the serene surroundings. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, complete with AC. The staff, especially Sabita, were friendly and always wore a smile. Sabita's delicious dinner dishes were a highlight of our stay. We highly recommend this place to everyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay in Sigiriya.

our recent stay in sigiriya was amazing, but danara homestay exceeded our expectations! the owners were so friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts were delicious. the room was clean, comfy, and spacious. we loved being surrounded by nature and the sounds of monkeys and birds in the jungle.

I absolutely loved the cozy double room with its own patio and private entrance. It felt like my little sanctuary away from home. The balcony in the double room was a nice touch. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The seating area in the room was a great addition. It provided extra comfort and made me feel right at home. The bathrooms were well-equipped with complimentary toiletries, which was a thoughtful gesture.

Personally, I found one feature a bit less appealing. But hey, it's just my opinion.
